In April 2025, as part of the Festival des Étoilés, we accompanied chef Yasunari Okazaki to the L'Abysse restaurant, for an exceptional four-handed dinner with chef Hirotaka Wada.
Objective: to create an immersive photo report to document this unique culinary encounter, capturing the atmosphere in the kitchen, the moments of complicity and the precision of the gestures.

01. Preparation

Before the event, we spoke with the teams to identify the key moments to cover: setup, preparation, service, and shared moments between the two chefs. The goal: to ensure nothing was missed without disrupting the flow of service.

02. Shooting

On location, we produced a discreet and sensitive report, using ambient lighting, to capture the energy of the kitchens and the cozy atmosphere of the dining room. Each shot aimed to illustrate the technicality, emotion, and elegance of this exceptional dinner.

03. Post-production

The photos were then carefully curated and processed to enhance the colors, texture, and details. The result: a series of authentic visuals, ready to inform the communication of the festival, the chefs, and the L'Abysse restaurant.
